SM has announced new boy group RIIZE will debut in September!
On July 31 it was officially confirmed that a new boy group will be debuting under SM Entertainment this September.
The new group named RIIZE will consist of seven members, with fans speculating ex-NCT members Shotaro and Sungchan will be part of the line-up.
This marks SM Entertainment's first fully new boy group debut since NCT in 2016, and first new group debut since aespa in 2020.
The name RIIZE combines the words "RISE" and "REALISE", with SM explaining that the “group will rise and realize their dreams together.”
RIIZE will open their official Instagram account on August 1, where they will be announcing the member line-up ahead of their September debut.
